Eye
Deep ruby with bright ruby rim.

Nose
Beautiful aromatics of spiced cherry, raspberry, and hibiscus with soft notes of vanilla, cedar, cardamom, and anise.

Palate
There's a savory note on the palate, with supple texture and a long finish.

Ageability
Can age another 15 years.
Background

For our 2021 production cycle we added an “appellation series” of Napa Valley Zinfandel bottlings from three new vineyard sources in Calistoga, Oakville, and Yountville. This offering is sourced from Napa Valley’s largest organically farmed vineyard. It saw just six months in barrel, an approach intended to let the fruit shine. Its cascading layers, delicate on the nose and more intense on the palate, hint at years of showing and proving to come.
